Elena was a doctor, I ran a company. We ticked every box of success, and yet something felt off. Work, screens, notifications, that feeling of running without ever stopping.
One day I did a 10-day silent meditation retreat. That's when it clicked. The problem wasn't that I wasn't doing enough. It was that there was too much noise.
So we left everything. We settled in an old hamlet between two rivers, in a chestnut grove deep in the Cévennes. We arrived with tools and no idea what we were doing. Just a dream. Little by little we started taking in animals — there were none at first. Today there are goats, ducks, hens, two dogs and cats.
We're still building. Not everything is perfect, and that's exactly right. When you come spend a few days here, you don't just book a stay. You sit by the river, you cut the noise, and you find again the dreams you'd forgotten.

Is there wifi?
No. No wifi on the land. There's 4G in Vialas (5 min by car). It's intentional — it's what lets you truly switch off.
How does "buy now, choose dates later" work?
You pay now at the current rate. Bastien contacts you on WhatsApp and you arrange the dates together within the next 12 months.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund within 14 days of purchase. After that, credits can be moved to another date.
Is there a wood stove in the tipis?
No. The tipis and the dome don't have a wood stove. The outdoor campfire is provided with firewood (subject to fire restrictions).
Can we come with children or pets?
Mention it to Bastien when you sort your dates. The land is alive — goats, dogs and hens already live here together.
